Regardt Stander

Regardt Stander is an independent musician and composer situated in Cape Town, South Africa. His debut album – Journey; which futures a variation of his original piano and orchestral compositions, was released in November 2015.

Born in November 1991, Regardt grew up on a farm in the far countryside of the Cape. There he was homeschooled and worked through his childhood as his father’s right hand on their family farm. He also learned to play many different musical instruments, like the harmonica, piano, guitar, and trumpet – to name just a few. A love for the great outdoors and a deep musical understanding was embedded into his education, which is still portrayed in own compositions.
Today, Regardt’s musical productions mainly come from his home studio, where he undertakes to refine and amplify his creations and continues to experiment with different methods of composing and assembling a diversity of sounds and instruments. His works can be followed on many public sites, such as his Youtube channel and on Soundcloud.  He quotes that the art of composing is an ever learning process, and you never know what heights of finery you can attain if you don’t keep on exploring the vast world of music and practice your findings.
